Merchant of record
Pet Recap sells its Premium subscription through Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle handles payment processing, billing, invoicing, taxes and refunds on our behalf. Every charge appears on your statement via Paddle, and each payment comes with a receipt email from Paddle that links to your order.
Free plan
Pet Recap is free for one pet, forever, with no card required. The free plan is never charged, so nothing needs to be refunded.
Premium subscriptions
Premium is billed monthly or yearly and renews automatically at the then-current price until you cancel. The price and billing cycle are shown before you check out and on your Paddle receipt.
Cancellations
You can cancel anytime from your billing settings inside the app. When you cancel, Premium stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, then your account returns to the free plan. We don't automatically prorate or refund the unused part of a billing period, except where required by law or under the refund window below.
Refunds
We want you to be happy with Premium. If you're not, we offer:
- A full refund within 14 daysof your first Premium charge if the service didn't work for you.
- A refund within 14 daysof an annual renewal charge if you forgot to cancel and haven't made meaningful use of the new period.
- A refund for any duplicate, accidental or clearly erroneous charge.
Refunds are issued to your original payment method by Paddle. Outside these windows we consider refund requests in good faith on a case-by-case basis.
How to request a refund
Email us at support@petrecap.com with the email address on your account and, if you have it, the order or receipt number from your Paddle email. You can also request help directly through the receipt Paddle sent you. We aim to respond within a few business days.
